About Us

Dr Doolittle is owned and operated by Jo and Andrew. They both have spent their lives always being around animals but dogs always had a special place in their heart so it was inevitable that they should start their own successful dog walking business in Bayside Melbourne.

Jo has had extensive experience with beagles. She has a Pet 1st Aid Certificate, is currently involved with Beagle Rescue Victoria. Prior to taking up dog walking, Jo has spent 13 years practicing in the Complementary Medicine field as a Naturopathic Physician and Herbalist, with a background in pharmacy.  Jo has recently returned to university to further her studies in Holistic Animal Care.

Andrew is experienced in handling German Shepherds and Great Danes. He is very passionate about animal welfare and public awareness of Animal Testing. He is also involved with Beagle Rescue Victoria.

Over these past couple of years their business has grown rapidly due to word of mouth and their excellent references (please see our testimonials page!)
